As from 1 October 2012, the First Home Owners Grant will be increased from $7,000.00 to $15,000.00.
The New Home Grant will be introduced on 1 July 2012. If you are not a first home buyer and purchasing a new home or vacant land, you may be eligible for a grant of $5,000.00.
The Builder’s Bonus Scheme has slipped under the radar and will now be ending on 30 June 2012. This means that people who are not first home buyers will no longer be eligible for stamp duty exemptions or concessions when purchasing off the plan or vacant land. However, first home buyers purchasing vacant land or a new home may still be eligible for a stamp duty exemption or concession.
At King Cain, your conveyance is more than just a property transaction. We always carefully consider which grants and stamp duty exemptions you may be eligible for, as an essential element of your conveyance.
